Suhani Patel


Suhani Patel is currently sophomore at Tyngsboro High School and has been learning dance since last ten years. Suhani has performed at various cultural events at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Gurjar and Jasmine Shah's annual dance show. She is grateful to Jasminji for imparting the knowledge of Indian culture through the art of dance. Besides dancing Suhani enjoys reading, writing and playing basketball. In School, she is hardworking and courteous student who enjoys taking up challenges. Along with school, she actively volunteers at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Lowell. Learning dance has taught Suhani about many aspect of Indian culture and heritage. She would like to thank Guru, Jasminji, family and friends for supporting her through the years of dance.

Jasmine Shah


Smt. Jasmine Shah is a highly-recognised and accomplished dancer. She has been trained in Bharatnatyam, Manipuri and Folk dances from various regions of India under the guidance of Shri K. Rao, Shri Arjun Desai, Smt. Niranjana Bhargav and Smt. Kokila Choksi. She founded Aangikam dance academy in 1982 and continues to share her love and passion for dance with her students. She has acheived an eminent status not only amongst the Indian Community of New England, but she has also earned the designation of Roaster Artist of New England Council of Arts. She also serves as a counselor for the New Hampshire Arts Council. She is warm, energetic, inspiring, loving and compassionate teacher who has endeared herself to her sudents.
